The following are terms and conditions for the sale of welding equipment, welding supplies and welding accessories on our web site, and will govern any contract of sale between Welds4U and you the consumer. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These Terms and Conditions tell you the rights and obligations you have. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect them. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

We would advise you to print these terms & conditions of sale for your own reference, as they form part of the contract for the sale of goods between Welds4U and you the consumer.

Purchasing from Welds4U

To purchase from us you must be over 18 years of age. Currently, we only ship to the United Kingdom. By submitting your order you are offering to purchase goods at prices and terms stated within our web site, this also permits us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other sub contractors). We will not use details provided by you for other purposes without seeking your consent and you may request your details be removed from our system by writing to the address above. We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order - Your order is deemed accepted when you receive a confirmation for despatch of goods, this is when the contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full. If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact our customer care team immediately. Please do this before we confirm your order.

Product images displayed are for illustration purposes only and may differ from products received. Welds4u attempt in everyway to supply products as per the image shown, however product designs and packaging may vary due to manufactures adjusting the style of the product.� We reserve the right to supply identical items with alternative packaging�without prior notice�to the customer.

Prices and Payments

All goods are priced inclusive of UK VAT at 17.5% unless otherwise stated. The purchaser is liable for any additional local state, country taxes, import duties or copyright levies, should these arise.

All prices and offers are subject to change, and availability. Prices are checked regularly, however, whilst every effort is made to eliminate errors in pricing, sometime errors do occur. If prices on Welds4U's web site are shown higher than actual selling price - we will make adjustments and charge the correct price to you, if prices on the web site are shown lower than actual selling price - than we will at our discretion either. a) contact you, cancel your order and refund your money, or b) contact you to confirm if you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price. - Subject to not selling below our cost price.

Welds4U from time to time may advertise special offers and promotions either via their web site or other methods, all promotions and offers are subject to limited time scale and availability. Welds4U may at their discretion change and or amend prices on goods for sale without prior notice.

You may make payments on our site by one of the following methods, Debit Card, Credit Card, PayPal.

Credit Card Payment & Security

Once you have selected the goods you wish to purchase and through the checkout, you will be diverted to PayPal's protected secure online payment system. Your credit/debit card information will be held in protected SSL secure servers at PayPal, Welds4U do not and will not hold details of your debit/credit cards. We will not release information regarding your debit/credit card, your debit/credit card details will only be used on transactions authorised by you.

We currently only accept VISA, MasterCard, VISA Delta, Switch and Switch Solo.

(IMPORTANT NOTE: customers using Switch should supply a "Start/Issue Date" and an "Issue Number" for the card where applicable, as well as card number and expiry date.)

Cancellations

By law you have the right to cancel any order within seven days after the item is received.

To cancel your order you need to write to us at :

Alternatively, you can e-mail us using the contact us link and then select Cancellation in the delivery box. Then you will need to complete our RMA form, request a RMA number and return the goods to us. We will refund your money less any delivery costs within 30 days from date of cancellation. All we ask is please take care of our goods, ensure all items are complete and in their original packaging, unused and in resalable condition. For your protection, please send items back well packaged and using a recorded delivery service.
If goods are not returned to us within 21 days of cancellation, we will collect the goods from you at your cost and will deduct the cost of collection from your refund, or if requested we will arrange collection of goods at your cost.

Please note: It is a legal requirement that you take care of the goods and you are responsible for the carriage costs of returning goods to us unless we delivered goods to you in error, or if goods are faulty. As a precaution, we suggest the use a reputable courier service with adequate insurance cover when sending goods back to us, as we can not be held responsible for goods damaged whilst in transit.

Deliveries from Welds4U

Welds4U will endeavour to dispatch orders placed before 5pm normal working day on a next working day delivery service. In the unlikely event of us failing to meet this deadline or out of stock items are ordered, we will contact you via email to advise you of the revised delivery date for your order.

Although we will aim to deliver you goods within the time scales stated, we cannot give you an exact time and date of delivery. In certain instances we may deliver goods in several consignments, but will not charge any extra delivery for this. You will be informed by e-mail when your goods have been dispatched from our warehouse.

Should you have any problems (i.e: If goods are not received within 7 days from time of notification or goods are delivered damaged or goods missing from consignment) please contact us immediately by clicking the contact us link to the left and select Customer Care in the delivery box. If we do not receive any communications from you within 2 working days from date of receipt, we may assume your goods have been delivered in perfect condition.

Should we fail to deliver your order within 30 days of expected delivery, you may cancel the contract, and any monies paid will be refunded.

Should our couriers fail to deliver your goods due to no recipient being available to take delivery, the goods will be returned to your local depot and may be held for up to 3 days. During which time further attempts may be made to deliver the goods, if further attempt to delivery the goods are unsuccessful the goods will be return to Welds4U and classed as a Failed Delivery. Once your order has been classed as a Failed Delivery, we will contact you and arrange one of two options, we can either resend your order (at your cost) or issue a refund for the order less any delivery charges incurred by us.

We use established Couriers such as Citylink Express or Royal Mail Packet Post. Experience tells us that the cheapest transport is not the best. For more information see http://www.city-link.co.uk

Damaged or defective goods

You should inspect your goods immediately upon delivery for defects, damages or shortage. Please note images used on our web site are for illustration purposes only and may differ from actual products received. If you find any defects or damages you must inform us by write to us as soon as possible and we will arrange the return of your goods, either to us, or the manufacturer. Warranty on all items, are RTB (Return to Base) excluding items damaged in transit, (these will be replaced at no cost to you). If the goods are found to be damaged or defective prior to delivery to you, we will repair or replace the goods or refund the price paid by you.

Your statutory rights as a consumer is not affected by this


Returns

All Returns must have an issued RMA number, accompanied by Returns RMA form (with all requested information clearly visible). Warranty on all items are RTB (Return to base), item/s must be returned at your cost unless item/s are faulty or sent to you in error (this is non-refundable). All second user hardware items are covered by a 30 day RTB warranty (unless stated otherwise). All items suspected to be damaged or faulty must be returned and tested, if no fault can be found or suspected fault replicated, then the item/s will be returned to you at your own cost ( a handling charge of �25.00 may be incurred for testing items found with no faults) or a refund for the item will be issued and the item restocked (Please note a 15% handling fee will be applied). We will only send replacement goods upon receipt of returned items. Please read Important notes on RMA form regarding the above terms.

To return any goods to us, your first must fill in a RMA Returns form and we will supply you with a RMA No. Please ensure that you clearly label all goods for return with your Name, Account Number, RMA number And Order number.

Then send your goods to Welds4U, Unit A10, Stafford Park 15, Telford, Shropshire, TF3 3BB.

We advise you to print and keep safe a copy of these Terms and Conditions. Please send goods back to us using recorded delivery service with insurance, we can not be held responsible for goods damaged in transit whilst returning to us.

Privacy & Security

Welds4U respect the privacy and security of all consumers, we treat all personal information provided by the consumer with great importance, and information provided will remain Private & Confidential. We will only use information supplied by you for the purpose of internal accounts, delivery of goods, and from time to time keep you informed on forthcoming News, Offers and Promotions.

Welds4U are not in the business of obtaining and selling Personal Data, so you can rest assured that any information supplied will not be sold or released to third parties, other than when in connection with your orders. Unless required by Law or in exceptional cases of debt recovery.

The use of cookies on our web site enable us to keep track of your shopping patterns thus enabling us to identify you. Should you wish you can disable cookies through the browser settings. Cookies are also used for the website navigation to ensure you see the correct category.
